Teaching Artist Tuesdays 3

  • Zoom Webinar United States (map)

The North Carolina Arts Council, in partnership with North Carolina Central University’s Teaching Artist Certificate Program, began an online workshop series in Summer 2020 – Fall 2020, entitled Teaching Artist Tuesdays,

The intent of the free online workshops is to serve as a map for this state’s teaching artists as they navigate the COVID-19 landscape. Sharon Hill, Arts Education director for the N.C. Arts Council, and Lenora Helm Hammonds, director of North Carolina Central University’s Teaching Artist Certificate Program, curated and facilitated the workshops. Building on the first season of this workshop series, the Spring 2021 season of Teaching Artist Tuesdays furthered explored new topics of interest to artists and teaching artists during challenging times.

Now in our third season, Spring 2022, we continue to support teaching artists in the state with our wide coverage of topics to serve the needs for artists seeking professional development and networking opportunities. Kathleen Collier, is the new North Carolina Arts Council Arts Education Director & Accessibility Coordinator who is now working with Teaching Artist Certificate Program Director, Dr. Lenora Helm Hammonds

We begin Teaching Artist Tuesdays 3 with new topics to focus on resources for the business side of your teaching artistry:
